Marianthi Anastasatou

Marianthi Anastasatou is an economist at the Bank of Greece. She studied International and European Economics at the Economic University of Finance and Economics and Finance (MSc) at the University of York. She obtained her PhD in Growth Economics at the University of Bristol. She is experienced in the analysis of the macroeconomic environment and the Economic Adjustment Program of Greece. She is the Greek delegate at the Output Gap Working Group and the Lisbon Methodology Working Group of the European Union and the Working Party 1 on Macroeconomic and Structural Policy Analysis of the OECD. Her research interests include economic growth, competition and the interlinkages with trade openness and financial development, and inequality.
