Vangelis Arvanitis is a distinguished graduate of the Department of Economic Sciences of the university of Thessaly, holds a MSc in “Applied Economics” and is PhD candidate of the same department. He has teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate level on monetary policy, investment appraisal, portfolio management and international banking and finance. His research focuses on Central Banks’ transparency and the channels of monetary policy transmission as well as on the European Union and the Greek crisis. He has publications on peer-reviewed research journals and he has participated in numerous conferences.
