Constantine Manasakis is currently Lecturer at the Department of Political Science, University of Crete (01/2012 – ) and Research Affiliate στο Düsseldorf Institute for Competition Economics (DICE), Heine-Universität Düsseldorf (08/2013 – ).
He holds a B.A. from the Department of Economics, University of Athens (2000), a Joint Engineering-Economics MBA from the School of Electrical Engineering, National Technical University of Athens (2003), and Ph.D. in Economics from the Department of Economics, University of Crete (2007).
His research interests focus on:

Labor Economics: The Economics of Trade Unions & Industrial Relations

Environmental Economics: Coastal Management
In the above fields, he has publications in international journals, collective volumes and presentations in international conferences. He has participated in European and Greek granted Research and Development Projects, in the fields of Entrepreneurship; Trade; Tourism; Information Systems.
