Theodora Arvanitidou is a PhD candidate at the School of Journalism and Mass Media Studies of the Aristotle University, in Thessaloniki. Her PhD thesis is on Financial Journalism. She holds a MSc in Management of Services with Specialization in Communication, Public Relations and Advertising, from the Department of Business Administration of the Athens University of Economic and Business. She also holds a Bachelor degree in Economics with specialization in Business Economics, from the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki. She has been working as an Editorial Assistant at Reuters News Agency in Athens since 2007. Her research focuses on Financial Journalism and on Greek and Foreign Media coverage of the economic crisis in Greece.
