Τhe Crisis Observatory hosted a closed seminar with Leonard Seabrooke, Professor at the Copenhagen Business School and the University of Warwick

On Monday, September 30, 2013, the Crisis Observatory hosted a closed seminar with Leonard Seabrooke, Professor at the Copenhagen Business School and the University of Warwick and specialist in issues of international political economy and economic sociology, on the theme: “Distinctions, Affiliations, and Professional Knowledge in Financial Reform Expert Groups”.

Prof. Seabrooke presented results of the “Professions in International Political Economies” (PIPES) research programme, which is funded by the European Research Council (ERC). The research presented by Professor Seabrooke concerns the role of expert groups in policy communities and their impact on policy proposals and reports from international organizations regarding the reform of the global financial system in the wake of the recent financial crisis.
