Ioanna Kastelli has a PhD in Economics of Technology, a DEA from Paris X-Nanterre in Industrial Economics and a bachelor in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is currently working at the National Technical University of Athens as coordinator of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit and as researcher at the Laboratory of Industrial and Energy Economics. From 2009, she is adjunct lecturer at the Department of Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her research interests include the fields of Economics of Technology and Industrial Economics, with emphasis on the dynamics of knowledge creation and diffusion, entrepreneurship and industrial and technology policy. She has published in international scientific journals, edited volumes and she is co-author of the book “Competitiveness and Technology in Greece” with T. Giannitsis, S. Zografakis, D. Mavri (2009). She has participated in many international and Greek conferences. She is a reviewer of the international scientific journals Technovation, Research Policy, European Urban and Regional Studies and Managing Global Transitions.
