The assistant professor of Economics at the University of Cyprus Sofronis Clerides answers the following questions of the Crisis Observatory, concerning the crisis of Cyprus (English subtitles available).

1. In what degree, do you think that the Greek crisis, and consequently the haircut, influenced the Cypriot crisis and mainly its extent?
2. Do you believe that the different result between Greece and Cyprus and the exit of the second from the Memorandum of Understanding, is because of the different nature of their crises or because of the design and implementation of the reforms requested?
3. The fact that Cyprus exits the Memorandum of Understanding makes it automatically a success story? Was the Memorandum of Understanding a  correct recipe?
