Eurostat/Annual inflation up to 0.3% in the euro area/January 2016/38/2016 – 25 February 2016

Euro area annual inflation was 0.3% in January 2016, up from 0.2% in December 2015. In January 2015 the rate was -0.6%. European Union annual inflation was 0.2% in January 2016, stable compared with December. A year earlier the rate was -0.5%. These figures come from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
