The following map shows the number of Nobel laureates per 1 million inhabitants of each country (the smaller number shows the actual number of Nobel laureates per country). It is based on a Wikipedia article that lists all Nobel laureates by Country.
Note that some laureates were counted more than once if they had a connection to more than one country (the country of birth and the countries which are significantly connected to their work all count).
Edit: One of my readers noticed that one of the Nobel Laureates (P. Lenard) was born in Slovakia, so I changed the number for Slovakia from 0 to 1.
